NANO BIOGAS
Nano Biogas is a sister project to Playponics. It is funded through Sheffield Hallam University's Global Challenges Research Fund. The project aims to develop biogas plants that have detachable/portable components that are convenient to use.
We have experimented with a few prototypes; installed in different homes in Khanpur Garbi. One of the latest nano scale designs is inspired by 'Jugaad' and has helped reduce the participating family's cooking gas bill by 30%.
STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP WITH PEOPLE LIVING WITH ALS/MND, MUMBAI
This stakeholder workshop was conducted at Neurogen Institute in Mumbai, by the Lab4Living in collaboration with the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay and supported by Asha Ek Hope Foundation. The objective was to gain insight about the issues faced by and the needs of the people suffering from ALS/MND so as to be able to design 'frugal' assistive technology that is inclusive and has a wide reach.
